about me
Hello! My name is Joaquín, I'm a 2D/3D artist and producer from Argentina. Like many artists, I've had a passion for drawing for as long as I can remember. I can recall being a kid doodling at class in kindergarten, sometimes impressing teachers and some of my fellow 'colleagues'—although I wasn't impressing anyone with my social skills! I was a bit rough around the edges and I didn't like anyone looking at my creations. Funny how I want everyone to look at them today... Oh, well!
I started my studio career in 2021, after graduating as an Illustration Designer from University of Palermo, where I studied from 2018 to 2020. Before that, I I studied Architecture at the University of La Plata until 2017, which gave me a solid foundation in spatial design and technical art skills, though I'm happy that I took the leap. In 2024, I expanded my expertise into 3D art, diving into organic sculpting and hard-surface modeling, as well as PBR textures and all sorts of 3D mumbo jumbo.

I've worked in visual development for animation and videogames, taking on character design, color keys, 2D animation, prop design, 3D textures and more. I've contributed to AR productions; live-action, 2D and 3D-animated commercials; PC and mobile videogames; and high-end 3D-animated shorts. I've been fortunate enough to work under the supervision of talented art directors and leaders, side by side with amazing 2D and 3D artists.
As a producer, I manage merchandise, art and design projects for videogame companies such as Bandai Namco, Konami, SEGA and nWay, working with with amazing IPs such as Elden Ring, Metal Gear Solid, and Tekken 8. My duties include everything you can imagine but I don't want to put you to sleep (just check out my LinkedIn page for that!). The most exciting part about that job is interacting with other creatives, designers, and artists.
A little more about me? I'm a bit of a geek and curious about everything—from films to history, art, music, and science. I like to think that embracing a wide range of interests has helped me navigate the world of visual storytelling with a deeper understanding of creativity... hopefully.
